Everyone is welcome at Central. We know no one is perfect, and with Jesus, anything is possible. Because we are a place that helps people find and follow Jesus, no matter where you are in your faith journey, we are so glad you are here!
When you attend a service at Central, volunteers wearing a red “How May I Help You” tag will greet you at the door. They will answer your questions and help you find your way around the church. The service will last about an hour with a Biblical message that intersects with everyday life. Dress casually and join us for coffee and fellowship before and after the service. We can’t wait to meet you!

Worship Experiences
Traditional Service: 8:30am Sunday
Join us for a traditional Lutheran worship service with liturgy and hymns. The message is the same as the other services, but the style and music are anchored in tradition to connect you to God and grow your faith.
Modern Service: 10:30am Sunday | 6:30pm Wednesday
Our modern services incorporate current music and creative arts to draw you closer to God and grow your faith through art, video and contemporary songs.

Parking
Church Entrances
Main Entrance: Located on Columbia Street, facing south.
Side Entrance: Accessible from the east side of the building.
Back Entrance: Positioned on the north side of the church.
Fellowship Hall Entrance (Handicap Accessible): Faces Bridge Street, near the BMO Bank building and church offices.
Additional Parking
Street Parking: Free parking is available on the surrounding side streets of the church on weekends and after 5 PM on weekdays.
Church Parking Lots: Public parking is available across the street from Central Lutheran.
Behind the Church: Additional parking spaces can be found directly behind the church building.
Lot East of Pederson-Volker Funeral Home: Parking is available courtesy of the funeral home on Sunday mornings.
City lot parking is also available nearby (not pictured).
At Central, children are always welcome in worship. If you prefer to sit with your younger child /children in the Central Play Area, the service is available to watch as your child has fun with the Nursery volunteer and other children. You are also welcome to let the Nursery volunteer care for your child /children as you worship in the Sanctuary.
